Known for its vibrant flavors and generous portions, El Paisano has captured the hearts (and stomachs) of locals and visitors alike.
As you approach the cheerful truck, you’ll be greeted by the enticing aroma of traditional Mexican spices wafting through the air. From their Quesa Birria Tacos that are overflowing with savory goodness to the towering tortas that defy the laws of sandwich-making, each dish is a testament to the authenticity that El Paisano promises. The Flan and Pastel De Tres Leches promise sweet endings that are just as memorable as the savory starts. The churros, reportedly warm and decadent, served with a choice of Nutella or lechera, allow for a perfect finish to your meal.
Don’t overlook the sides, either. With options like refried beans and guacamole that are bursting with flavor, every bite can be customized to your liking. Customers rave about the mangonada, an enchanting treat that amplifies the experience, just as Sophon Bowman passionately noted how it outshone offerings from bigger cities.
At El Paisano, the commitment to quality shines through in every item on the menu. Whether you’re enjoying your meal under the tent or taking it to-go, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff enhance your dining experience. Plus, with prices that make you rethink fast food, it’s easy to see why Kara Mundy emphasizes that this is real food at a good price.

“ The authenticity I’ve been wanting! The food was delicious! The Quesa Birria tacos were cheesy and FULL with the birria. The consume was delicious and left enough for me to dip before every bite. The churros were a special today but they were warm and soft and came with your choice of Nutella or lechera. Good price for quality food. ”
“ This place is a great value for Mexican food in Lancaster. The portions are great and the prices are great too. Why do fast food when you can get real food, good food for such a good price? Tacos are fantastic. I usually only get 2 because they’re so packed. Both salsas are very good! The red is spicy and the green is mild. It seems like they have items not on their menu. Like the mangonada, which is really good. This is a food truck. They do have a tent out front for shade, a few weighted buckets you could sit on, but there is no seating. Don’t be afraid to wait in your car. The staff is always super nice. ”
“ If you haven't tried El Paisano yet, let me tell you, you're missing out on a taco revelation that could make even the most devoted taco skeptic weep tears of joy. I've been indulging in their culinary delights for years, and let me just say: these tacos are so authentic they practically have their own birth certificates from Mexico! Now, let’s talk about those tortas. OH MAN! These things are not just sandwiches; they’re like edible skyscrapers. Every time I take a bite, I feel like I need to ask my stomach for permission—“Excuse me, dear stomach, would you like to accommodate this flavor explosion?” Spoiler alert: my stomach always says yes, but it also sends a warning about needing a bigger belt. I swear, one of their tortas could double as a flotation device in case of an emergency. Just check out the picture I attached. It's not just food; it's a monument to my bad decisions and excellent taste. So, if you want to experience food that makes you question your life choices but in the best way possible, head to El Paisano. Your taste buds will throw a fiesta, and your stomach will need a nap. It's a win-win! ”
“ Never in my life would I have ever thought I’d find something like this in Lancaster. On a whim my daughter and I googled where we could get birria tacos and came across this food truck on Google. The portions were insane and the flavors are out of this world. Better than anything I’ve had in Philly and NY. Zero complaints and I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. The gentleman there was also very sweet. Please don’t skip this food truck. You’ll regret it! ”
“ I was told that the Birra Tacos were fantastic and they were juicy and so filling! The mozzarella and onions are a must and I also got jalapenos on top and it added an extra bite that I needed. The lady that took our order was very friendly and answered any questions we had. My husband ordered the steak and chorizo torta and it was huge! He liked it but liked my Birra Tacos better. I also ordered the mangonada and it was super refreshing and paired well with the tacos but not a must. However, we ordered the nutella churros and they were AMAZING!! A must along with the Birra Tacos... ”
“ Attention! It’s in the diner now! Food truck is gone due to local laws. Anyways, I love the food here it’s the best Mexican food. Al pastor tacos are my personal favorite. I also enjoy the empanadas and really anything else. ”
“ They have the best food, a little bit pricey but well worth it. Very authentic Mexican food, we always get the birria tacos and they always taste the same. The place is very consistent and the service is awesome. Would highly recommend it. My one and only recommendation is that they should accept card or at least cash app instead of only cash. ”
“ THE FOOD TRUCK IS STILL OPEN! They’ve moved INSIDE the diner — same menu, same flavor They’re working together now, so don’t be fooled by the setup. Still the same great food, will recommend to place you order on the phone before picking it up. ”
